Bellver
Bellver

Bellver de Cerdanya is an ideal place to enjoy high mountain nature, hiking along the Cathar Route, the Reapers' Route (the GR-150, also known as the Picasso Trail) or any other of the many routes available. Bellver has a natural environment where the contrasts are absolutely varied between the landscapes of the shady area and those of the sunny side, with riverside forests and scenic observation points, such as the Basses de Gallisà.

The municipality invites walkers to let themselves be carried away and discover, on foot, the church of Santa Maria de Talló, considered 'the cathedral of Cerdanya' due to its large dimensions. And, very close by, the church of San Serni de Coborriu, also of great beauty. Bellver de Cerdanya has the privilege of having a religious architecture based on the Romanesque of the first order, which takes us back to the primitive and rural Romanesque like nowhere else in Catalonia.
