L'ESTANC DE PUIGCERDÀ FESTIVAL

The festival has its roots in 1886 and, although the structure has evolved, it retains original elements such as the parade of decorated carts, the fireworks show, the appearance of the Vella de l'Estany, the swimming crossing in the Estany, and the brotherhood act with the Guingueta d'Ix, culminating with the anthem of Cerdanya.

PUIGCERDÀ HORSE FAIR

This fair is one of the most prominent in Europe, exhibiting over 1,000 specimens of the native Pyrenean breed throughout the weekend. The morphological contest, a highlight of the event, showcases the best specimens. With a history dating back almost a thousand years, the fair has become the country's most important in terms of horses. In addition to the competitions, the multisectoral fair offers various stalls with varied products in different locations in the city.
